ok but real talk the worst part of the first avengers movie is the bit where Steve is all like “tony you’re not a team player” and then when Tony goes into the wormhole and everyone says “close the portal” even though tony is still in it and you know that if Tony hadn’t made it back out then they would have mourned him and they would have been super sad but they would have lived with it. But if it was anyone else-if it was cap or hulk or clint or thor or widow in the wormhole then tony would not have closed the portal until they were back. he would have kept it open no matter what. and if he had to close it? if whoever it was didn’t make it back out? Tony would never have forgiven himself. ever. you know what he’s like. he would have just died a little bit more, and it would have driven him further into his own little self-hatred where he cant escape the past. don’t tell me that tony isn’t a team player. everything he does is for the team. he just doesn’t know how to team. help him.

this is so true

And not OK

Since My stepdad cheated on my mom and he’s being an ass. I put a shit ton of that tasteless powder laxative in all of his diet shake mixes he won’t notice but he will shit himself and not be able to figure out why.

Update: he shit himself at Walmart and I haven’t seen my mom laugh and smile that much for months.

You did the right thing

my uncle used to be one of those people who drove dead people to cemeteries and such

then he became a taxi driver and the person he was driving tapped his shoulder to ask a question and my uncle screamed really loud

IT’S BACK

I’m sure that’s what he thought.

Do you think of me on airplanes? With your headphone snug around your ears and the clouds below. Do you think of my hands as you are exploring new territory - the freedom, the thrill, the rush. When you travel against the turn of our planet, does it take you back into the past?

I think of you on jet planes. In thoughts that go a million miles an hour. Over toy towns and towers made of tin. Nothing feels real without you.

Do you think of what could have been? In the early morning light when you wake up next to some stranger, wondering why you don’t feel a thing.

In every bar room and bedroom where you’re forced into conversation or giving away parts of yourself - do you miss me?

Do you think of me in cars? When every turn you take is driving us further apart. Does every road sign pleading you to take care, remind you of how much I want you, how deeply you are loved.

I think of you on roads that stretch into the horizon. On roundabouts and signs that keep telling me that I am going in the wrong direction. I hope you think of me as much as I think of you. I hope that every step will bring you closer, that every dead end is a messenger, willing you to turn back around, reminding you it’s time to come home.

Tell me if you ever cared
              if a single thought
              for me was spared.

Tell me when you lied in bed,
              do you think of something
              I once said.

Tell me if you hurt at all,
              when someone says
              my name with yours.

It may have been long ago,
               but I would give
               the world to know.

So I can take my love for you and give it to the world…

Because you won’t take it from me."
